The
Kilimanjaro 2000 team consisted of Mike Connelly, Gregg Crandall, Roger
and Jacqui Gush, Lin Chee, Anja Bauerle, Irwin Marcus, Jenny O' Grady and
Ian Giddy. We flew to Nairobi from New York, Vancouver, Germany, Bournemouth
(UK) and Gary, Indiana.
The journey through
Kenya and northern Tanzania was long, but on the evening of July 9th we
arrived at the Kudu campground near the Ngorongoro Crater wildlife preserve.
