| 1. From Manhattan, take the Saw Mill Parkway north to the Y-junction
to the Taconic. 2. Taconic Parkway north 62 miles to Bulls Head Road. 3. Left, left again, go west on Bulls Head Road (Route 19), 8 miles 9G. Turn right (north) 1 mile to Violet Hill Road, then left (west) 1 mile and left onto to 308. 4. Follow 308 west through Rhinebeck's traffic light, continuing 2 miles after the light into Rhinecliff. 5. In Rhinecliff, with the river on your right, pass the train station, go through the stop street at Schatzell and continue up a slight rise (on Kelly). Where the road curves left, continue straight on James and drive to the end. Ours is the last house on the left, a white house with blue trim with a white picket fence. |
